Toptia’s scope of work is focused on removing the stigmas attached to justice-impacted indivduals; those with tarnished criminal backgrounds that are  now unable to receive equal opportunities as others in society. Criminal backgrounds are not a part of any protected characteristic of discrimination. Although some laws and policies enables  criminal backgrounds to be disregarded  to an  extent;  based on the extremities of an offense, granted convictions, and the nature of  the opportunity in which they are applying; most places have strict guidelines and policies that are in place only to  determine whether or not  a person with a prior negatively documented history fits into their organization.

The overall goal is to create opportunities for individuals that society has overlooked and outcasted.  We are releasing individuals of their own stigmas. No one is who they were yesterday, let alone 10 years ago. It is time for society to adjust. Adjustment starts with Toptia.
